o-town

This past weekend my best friend Elizabeth and I made a trip to oxford to visit our friends that are going to school at ole miss. Oh my goodness it was so much fun. Friday we stayed with our friend Taylor that is a current freshman. She is living in crosby which was actually pretty nice compared to the other dorms there. We went to eat with a bunch of people from Tupelo just to reunite and stuff. Then we went out for the night. We tried to find something to do but really there was nothing going on on campus so we just chilled around the dorm. It was so much fun. We solved the problems of the world. Her roomate is so cool and so are all of her new friends. Her floor has bonded and they are all really cool.
Saturday was the kicker. Me and Liz spent the day shopping and just chilling around the square. She had to go home that afternoon but I decided to stay with my cousin Sadie. I had a blast. We went to the Justin Moore concert at the lyric which was amazing. We had backstage passes and got to meet him. Some of Sadies sigma nu friends went with us. They are probably the sweetest guys I have ever met. They treat her like a princess which makes me feel a lot better about her being there. After the concert we went back to the sigma nu house and chilled it up with the guys. Sunday was the end to my perfect weekend. I went to church with Macon and Paige (sadies cool friends) and I got to see my best friend Maggie for the first time since easter. It was great getting to see my old friends.

Last weekend made me so ready for college, but it did not help me decide where I want to go. Monday was miserable because I did not want to go back to high school.  I am so sick of high school and all of the drama. I am ready to get out of here and make new friends and have the freedom to do whatever. I am really excited about next year and can not wait to see what God has up his sleeve!

woodstock

Every year the seniors host dance to raise money for their senior trip. My group hosted woodstock and we set a record forthe most people at a dance! We had to get there 30 minutes early because we were the hosts and that was probably my favorite part. We blasted all of our favorite songs like the wop and danced like crazy it was so much fun!

Summa timeee

This summer has probably been the most busy summer of my entire life. I was home a total of 2 weeks. I went to the beach twice, I went to kamp, I went to church camp, I had ballet camp and then there is choreography week. It was such an awesome summer but it definitely flew by way to fast.
I feel like every summer gets shorter. This summer was by far the shortest of my entire life. Thank goodness you get a longer summer when you are in college. I do not know how many more years I could handle this short summer thing.
It was fun traveling so much but I didn't really get to see any of my friends. That was probably the biggest downside. I saw caitlin and Kati at kamp so that was good but really I only saw a few of my friends just because I went on trips with them or we did ballet camp or show choir camp. It was definitely an acrepic summer I just wish it would have lasted longer.

twenty-twelve drop it low

Two days before school started we had a back to school party called geab-a-date which is where the senior girls ask freshmen guys to a field day kind of thing. it was rather awkward except for the fact I am good friends with my dates sister. It was pretty lame and unorganized but it was fun to get back together with my grade and just have fun!
I started my senior year on the 4th. Oh my goodness it was the best day ever! It is so weird though, I can hardly believe this time next year I will be on my way to college. It seems like just yesterday I was on my way to my first day of kindergarden. my how time has flown by. We stayed out all night on the 3rd. We did the typical senior stuff painted cars, got pulled over for being out past curfew, got kicked out of wal-mart, and we started a new thing and had a food fight in a parking lot with the juniors. Needless to say it was a successful night. on the 4th we made our big entrance into the school... our last first day of high school. That is weird. I am so excited to see what God does with me throughout my senior year and May 18th yeah it can wait a little while to get here I'm not quite sure I'm  completely ready for that.
Friday night was toga the first dance of the year. It was only fun because I was with my friends besides that it was pretty lame. the music wasn't that great and not very many people were there.
All in all my first week of school was great and I can not wait to continue out the year with my friends!

We are the gopher girls

This year I decided instead of posting a bunch of pictures from kamp I made a video. It was pretty acrepic the first time I made it... then my computer crashed. I have remade it 3 times. I got really frustrated and finally just threw one together so there are some pictures that are messed up, incorrect grammar, spelling, things to that nature. It's been 3 months and im just now getting it to work. Besides that, it gives those of you who have never gotten the kamp experience of kanakuk , a glimpse at why we love it so much! This goes out to the gopher girls in kabin 18!!! I love you guys so much!!!
