26 days

26 more days and i will be in the little quaint town of Lampe, Missouri posted up at k-2. Besides the beach these two weeks are always the highlight of my summer. I have to say that no matter what i always have a blast. With all of the crazy parties the trips and k-life, there is never a dull moment. It is also where i met my very best friend Caitlin Hawkins and one of my other good friends Kati McCarthy. Last year we met two other girls named Celeste and Jaqueline and we became the "Fave 5". Lame I know but we think we are cool and that is all that matters.
Kanakuk is always an awesome experience. I always grow on my walk with Lord when I am there. It is a place were I can just get away from the real world. No phones , no computers, nothing, and I have to say it makes life a lot easier.
At kamp I can just be myself, I don't have to worry about what anyone else thinks. Two weeks of no makeup, nike shorts, t-shirts, and ponytails. LIFE.IS.GOOD. no one is there to judge you or what you wear or how crazy you are. There are no expectations to who you are and everyone is just ehre to have a good time. It really makes me step back and think about who I am and my life and my relationship with Christ. I always come back changed in a different way.
I can NOT wait to reunite with two out of the 4 fave 5! It is going to be a blast! summer 2012 GAME ON!

Memphis in May

This weekend me, Heather, and Courtney went to memphis in may. It was our second year to go. The saturday was courts birthday so it was her birthday celebration. Last year was miserable due to the fact that we didn't know who any of the bands were. This year the line up was AMAZING! Friday night we saw MGMT, B.O.B., and Jason Maraz. It was so good. We drove back friday night because heather had regionals for track. Saturday afternoon us 3 made a road trip to Southaven went to eat and hit up target. Then we met Mr. Brian at the hotel and he drop us off at memphis in may. Saturday was by far the best day. We saw Mumford and sons, 8ball & mjg, ludacris, and Ke$ha. Ke$ha was freaking awesome. They had glitter cannons, enough said. it was a blast. We had a blast and can not wait until next year!
